The Nordic combined athletes traveled north for summer training.
The sport is known to mix cross-country skiing and ski jumping, for which Kuusamo may be a nice place.
Endless roads for roller skiing and a plastic covered hill for practicing jumping.
And while visiting the hill, Vinzenz Geiger noticed something curious.
His team-mate Johannes Rydzek has moved away from the group and suddenly lies down in the meadow.
Completely tired from training?
Is the grass that cozy in Finland?
Does Rydzek need help?
Whatever thought went into Geiger's head, he was initially very surprised.

He filmed the situation and asked Rydzek via Instagram: “Are you okay?”.
He followed his answer promptly and it becomes clear why he laid down in the spout.
"Everything for the picture".
And as you can see, Ryzdek took a nice snapshot that seems a bit unusual for winter sports fans if you are used to snow mountains and white backgrounds.

Geiger and Rydzek's colleague Eric Frenzel posted a picture of the cross-country session.
He wasn't alone on his skis, there were also animal hurdles on the road.
Nothing happened to either of them.

The biathletes came from Ruhpolding or Süditrol, the combiners from Finland.
