After Kylian Mbappé on the cover of FIFA 22, Neymar was chosen by Konami as the new ambassador of PES2021.
The Japanese brand had to find a new partner of weight after having let go of Antoine Griezmann, because of the controversy over his anti-Asian mockery with Ousmane Dembélé.
Konami has not yet indicated if the Brazilian number 10 will be on the cover of the next opus PES2022, at the start of the next school year.
Nevertheless, the player is already available, in an unprecedented way in the game, within the Iconic Moment series.

The Konami and PES2021 ambassador would normally be called Antoine Griezmann.
The playing master of the France team had seen his contract broken with the Japanese brand.
The FC Barcelona player had been the author of behavior considered anti-Asian with his teammate and partner in the France team Ousmane Dembélé, in videos posted and found on social networks.
"We announced (early June) that Antoine Griezmann was to become our content ambassador but, in light of recent events, we decided to cancel the contract," the video game publishing company said at the beginning of July, in a press release.
It remains to be seen who will be on the cover of PES2022 at the start of the school year.
Club partners, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar could well find themselves opponents in the gaming departments.
