According to our information, the Argentinian Patricio D'Amico, who was part of Jorge Sampaoli's staff at Olympique de Marseille, will be the coach

In National 2 or National 3, Ile-de-France clubs are used to trusting coaches from the Paris region, who often rotate among themselves.

Taken over in March by Pierre Mbappé, new president, former trainer of Ivry and uncle of Kylian, Ivry has chosen to completely innovate.

While the name of Alain Mboma (ex-Villemomble, Red Star, Paris FC, Blanc-Mesnil) was mentioned to replace Mohamed Tazamoucht (party for Blanc-Mesnil, N3), the Val-de-Marne club appealed to the Argentinian Patricio D'Amico (46 years old).

D'Amico will experience the big gap by moving from the grounds of the Commanderie and the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille to the more dilapidated Clerville stadium in Ivry… Patricio D'Amico had indeed joined OM in March as assistant to Jorge Sampaoli .

He held the positions of analyst and translator.

He left OM in early July, replaced by ex-pro Felipe Saad.

Limited experience

For Ivry, this is a rather daring choice as D'Amico has only limited experience as a head coach, in Uruguayan club CD Maldonado and then in Italy at the Accademia Pavese.

But Fernando's twin brother (former Lille midfielder) knows France well, whose language he masters perfectly.

The former striker evolved in Metz, Wasquehal, Châteauroux between 2000 and 2005 (9 games in L 1, 83 in L 2).

During the last two interrupted seasons, Ivry had played the leading roles (2nd then 3rd before the stops) in National 3 and will still be among the favorites on the rise.
