Olympic road bike race: Ecuadorian Carapaz flees to the gold medal

The Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz won the 234-kilometer Olympic road race on Mount Fuji.

The reigning Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar from Slovenia prevailed in the sprint for the silver medal from the Belgian Wout van Aert.
