Iran's Jawad Foroughi won the gold medal in the air pistol from a distance of ten meters in shooting, to give his country its first gold medal in the Olympics.
Foroughi scored 244.8 points, ahead of Serbia's Damir Micic, who scored 237.9 points, and China's Pang Wei, champion of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, won the bronze.
