Two gold medals for Tunisia and Iran at the Tokyo Olympics

Tokyo, SANA- The Tunisian Ahmed El Hefnawi won the gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle swimming, while the Iranian Jawad Foroughi won the gold

Tunisian Ahmed El Hefnaoui won the gold in the 400 meters freestyle swimming and Iranian Javad Foroughi won the air pistol gold at the Tokyo Olympics.

El Hefnawy scored three minutes and 43.36 seconds to win the title after he surpassed in the last meters by 0.16 seconds over Australian Jack McLoughlin.

Tunisian Mohamed Khalil Jendoubi won the first Arab medal in Tokyo, by winning a silver in the 58 kg weight class in taekwondo yesterday.

Iran's Jawad Foroughi won the gold medal in the air pistol from a distance of ten meters in shooting, to give his country its first gold medal in the Olympics.

Foroughi scored 244.8 points, ahead of Serbia's Damir Micic, who scored 237.9 points, and China's Pang Wei, champion of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, won the bronze.
