News 13 reported tonight (Monday) that a footballer on a senior team in the Premier League last season was arrested on suspicion of involvement in a drug trafficking and distribution affair.

The actor has been questioned and may even be brought in for remand, but has not yet been brought before a judge.

The investigation is being conducted by the Negev region of the police and there are a number of others involved.
