Egyptian taekwondo player Hedaya Malak won the bronze medal in the women's 67-kg category, defeating American Paige McPherson, ranked fifth in the world, 17-6, to give her country its first medal at the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
The medal angel added to the 57-kilogram bronze she won at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
