Ukrainian triathlete Yuliya Yelistratova tested positive for EPO in a race on June 5, the International Testing Agency (ITA) said on Monday, and was removed from the start list of the Olympic race scheduled for Tuesday morning (6:30 am) in Tokyo.

The International Triathlon Federation was informed of the case on July 24 by the Warsaw laboratory, accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA),
" ITA said in its statement.
The 33-year-old Ukrainian, who was supposed to take part in the individual race at the Olympics on Tuesday morning has been "
temporarily suspended
" and will not be able to line up at the start. She has the right to request the analysis of the B sample and to challenge her provisional suspension before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
