At the end of a mad race, Matthieu Androdias and Hugo Boucheron became Olympic champions in a couple.
This is the third gold medal and the eighth charm for the French delegation in Tokyo.
In the final, the Blues (6: 00.33) beat the Netherlands (6: 00.53) and China (6: 03.63).

Judo (F): Margaux Pinot left in 8th at -70kg
Terrible disillusion for the Frenchwoman.
Serious candidate for the medal in the -70kg category, the Frenchwoman was eliminated as soon as she entered the competition, in the round of 16, by the Greek Teltsidou.
Pinot has been penalized three times, including an exit from the mat, and this offered victory to his opponent.

Judo (H): Axel Clerget released in 8th at -90kg

Swimming (M): Hungarian Milak untouchable on 200m butterfly
The coronation was announced and Kristof Milak did not fail. Xuefei Qi, physically diminished, bowed against Taipéienne Tai in straight sets (21-10, 21-13).
