Egypt's handball team won its first match against Portugal 32-33 before losing to Denmark in the second round with a score of 27-32, raising its score to 4 points in third place behind the leaders of the second group "Denmark and Sweden" with six points each.
The Egyptian team is very close to reaching the quarter-finals, as the first four teams from each group qualify for this round in the Tokyo Olympics.
It is noteworthy that the next match for the Egyptian national team will be against Sweden next Friday.
