A less brilliant and eventful recovery but rich in lessons less than a month before the Solitaire du Figaro.
In the second part of this series dedicated to him, the sailor looks back on this race but also his new projects in Imoca.

A fall and lessons
“I finished the Solo Guy Cotten in 12th place.
That's not really good.
I had made a radical choice of sail because I wanted to test a few things before the Solitaire, in particular a very hollow spinnaker but the conditions were not the right ones.
I also fell on the boat.
It was quite violent.
During a maneuver, the wind turned 180 degrees, I slipped and I fell on the flat-deck pulley of the backstay.
The pain was horrible.
I remained lying at the bottom of the boat not being able to get up for a good half an hour.
