The jockey Ahmed Hamsho is continuing his training on his horse (Devil) in preparation for participating in the show-jumping competitions at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, which he will open next Tuesday.
The rider Hamsho occupies the 63rd place in the world rankings of the International Equestrian Federation, and this is his second participation in the Olympic Games after the London 2012 Olympics. He participated in 20 qualified European and Arab international tournaments, including 6 international tournaments held in Syria and called the Peace League, which was held under the supervision of the International Federation of the game.
Hamsho was able to qualify for the World Endurance Championship in 2006 in Germany, after which he won the silver dress for teams with the national team in the Arab championship that took place in Egypt in 2007, and the bronze endurance, and he won the Grand Prix championship in the UAE city of Al Ain in 2014 and also won the Grand Prix championship in Abu Dhabi 2015 bronze teams with the national team in the Asian Futsal Championship that took place in Turkmenistan in 2018, and crowned the title of the Loyalty Championship in Syria in 2018, the champion of the Al-Aghar International Tournament in 2021 and the champion of the International Peace Championship in 2021.
The Syrian national athletics player, Majd Al-Din Ghazal, was eliminated from the high jump competition in the session for not exceeding a height of 225 cm in the qualifying stage. The table tennis player Hend Zaza, the triathlon player Muhammad Maso and the swimmer Ayman Kalzieh finished their participation in the tournament, provided that the quarter-finalist, Maan Asaad, ended their participation in the tournament.
