Brasko started the preparation as if everything were normal.

His protégés are currently in the middle of the first real preparation block, which will drag on for a total of six weeks into August. They then get a two-week break before another six weeks are supposed to fine-tune the BOL round.

Brasko started moderately: “For a large part of the team, hardly anything was possible until June.

They could only run and do strength training. ”Circuit training and handball-specific exercises are on the program, the HSG coach wants to teach his team simple handball with quick changes in tempo.

He has to do without goalkeeper Peter Vrabel, who was drawn back to Slovakia.

Three students to reinforce

On the other hand, there are also some newcomers, with three students joining the HSG.

The coach said the greatest talent was Eilas Küpper.

He can play in the middle position as well as in the left backcourt and previously played in the youth regional league.
