Elina Svitolina (6th) won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games tennis tournament on Saturday, beating Kazakhe Elena Rybakina (20th), 1-6, 7-6 (7/5), 6-4, at the outcome of a disputed match.
The Ukrainian won on her seventh match point after 2:24.
The match for the gold and silver medals must start immediately and will pit the Swiss Belinda Bencic (12th) against the Czech Marketa Vondrousova (42nd).
