He attributes a relaxing effect to his passion, knitting kept him sane during the games.

And probably even Albus Dumbledore - the headmaster of the Harry Potter series is known for his love of knitting patterns.
It is quite possible that Daley will conjure up a few bags for some of his colleagues from the Great Britain * team.
Because with a total of 35 medals (as of August 2), the British are currently in sixth place.
