Mario Götze sets course for the playoffs with PSV Eindhoven.
The Dutch coached by Roger Schmidt finished off FC Midtjylland from Denmark 3-0 (3-0) - the game was decided in just under fifteen minutes.
Young star Noni Madueke (19th) gave PSV the lead, former Bundesliga professional Götze increased (29th), and Cody Gakpo made everything clear (32nd).
Shortly before the end of the game, Götze just missed the hosts' fourth goal in the first leg of the third qualifying round.
Monaco wins away thanks to Volland
Thanks to goal scorer Kevin Volland, AS Monaco have also put themselves in a very good starting position for the Champions League play-offs.
The club coached by Niko Kovac deservedly won the first leg at Sparta Prague 2-0 (1-0).
This means that the team with striker Volland and the new goalkeeper Alexander Nübel already have a draw or a narrow defeat in the second leg to make it into the play-offs.
For the Ligue 1 third from last season, Aurelien Tchouameni scored after a corner kick with his head (37th) and the former Bundesliga professional Volland (59th).
Return legs in a week
The second leg will take place on August 10th.
The winners reach the play-offs, in which it is a question of entering the group stage of the Champions League.
Eindhoven would face either Spartak Moscow or Benfica Lisbon in the play-offs, Monaco against Genk or Shakhtar Donetsk.
