The Egyptian team achieved an unprecedented achievement by qualifying for the first time to the semi-finals of the handball competition in the Tokyo Olympics, after its great victory over its German counterpart, 31-26, to make the team a candidate to compete for one of the medals in this Olympic session.

The Egyptian team will meet its French counterpart to compete for the ticket to qualify for the final of the competition.
