It would have been the first public training at BVB since the beginning of the corona pandemic.
The Dortmund professionals were allowed to train on Tuesday afternoon without a spectator.
“We are in close contact with the health department.
A training in the intended form is unfortunately no longer possible against the background of current events.
We have tightened our own precautionary measures again, ”said the cup winner *.
After consultation with the health department, the game in Wiesbaden should be able to take place as planned despite the two corona cases.
After the positive corona test by Thomas #Meunier, there was unfortunately another positive test in the current test - after the days off for the players.

Meunier and Brandt have to go into domestic isolation. Both the Belgian EM participant and the 35-time German national player had tested positive for the corona virus after the days off after the training camp in Bad Ragaz. Fullback Meunier had completed two tests before starting the preparation in the middle of last week and another test before flying back from Switzerland to Dortmund, all of which had turned out negative.
In the past few days, the corona cases in the Bundesliga had increased.
VfB Stuttgart recorded three infections, Bayern Munich, TSG Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt one each.
