Simone Biles won bronze on the balance beam on her comeback at the Tokyo Olympics.
Gold and silver went to the Chinese women Guan Chenchen and Tang Xijing.
The 24-year-old Biles had only completed the qualification competition in Tokyo and dropped out of the team final after the first of four rounds.
Afterwards, Biles decided not to take part in the all-around final as well as to make decisions about the equipment for jumping, uneven bars and on the floor.
