Hattin team faces its rival Al-Ittihad today in the second group matches of the Tishreen football tournament to decide the lead and runners-up and to complete the contract of the teams qualified for the semi-finals of the Tishreen football tournament, along with Afrin, the leader of the first group and runner-up Tishreen.
The first match, which will be held in the main stadium of Al-Assad Sports City, Baniyas and Al-Fatwa, will meet with a total match, in which the winner will raise his score to four points, while Al-Ittihad and Hattin will meet in a decisive match that is not divisible by two to determine the group champion and runner-up, as they are equal by 4 points.
At the end of the first round competitions, Afrin defeated the Syrian youth team with two goals, scored by Fadel Ghlais in the 33rd minute and Muhammad Al-Akkad in the 38th minute, while Muhammad Sarmini scored for the team in the 66th minute.
In the second match that took place on the grounds of Al-Basel Stadium, Tishreen defeated Al-Shura, which was enough to draw three clean goals to qualify, to take the second qualification card from it.
With this result, Afrin tops the first group with 7 points, followed by Tishreen with 5 points, the Police 3 points, and the Syrian youth team with one point.
The teams will rest tomorrow to start the semi-final matches the day after tomorrow, in which the champion of the second group will meet with the second group of the first and the champion of the first group with the second group of the second, and the winners qualify for the final next Sunday at a date to be determined later.
Under the tournament system, in the event of a tie in the semi-final and final matches, the penalty kicks will be taken directly without extension.
