The statement of the president of Aktobe regarding Maccabi Tel Aviv's chances to sign Ray Manai from Barcelona, caused a great feature among the fans and also increased interest from the Catalan media in the future of the player who is on the staff of the luxury club tonight (Wednesday) against Red Bull Salzburg.
Despite the reports from Kazakhstan, Andy Barra, Manai's agent, clarified tonight in a conversation with Walla!

The 24-year-old international striker arrived in Barcelona in January 2020 as a player on the reserve team and last season scored 14 goals in 22 games in Barcelona B.
He is currently with the first team in preparation for the season and even scored a hat-trick against Gymnastic and a goal for the Girona network.
His contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2023.
In 2015 Inter acquired Manai from Carmonza and he even played 32 minutes in Serie A in the Nerazzurri uniform, before going on loan at Pescara (two goals in the Premier League), Pisa (two goals in the second division) and Granada (one goal in the second division in Spain) .
Albacete bought him for 2.5 million euros two years ago and he contributed six goals to them, before moving to Barcelona.
In the uniform of the Albanian national team, he made his debut at the age of 18 and scored with his first touch, after 12 seconds in a friendly match against Kosovo.
In doing so, he became the Albanian substitute with the fastest goal in history and the youngest conqueror in the history of the team.
He has a total of six goals in 26 games for the team.
