He was never really happy in Munich, now his move is on the horizon.
Apparently, FC Bayern has found another interested party for Corentin Tolisso.
Munich - Somehow it just wasn't supposed to be.
Corentin Tolisso * and FC Bayern Munich * - that never turned into the very big success story.
The record champions had kicked the French loose from Olympique Lyon in 2017 for around 40 million euros.
Bayern's record since then: 96 games, 18 goals, twelve assists.
So it's no wonder that Bayern would very much like to find a buyer for Tolisso.
Too often he was missing injured.
And once he got the trust, he rarely used his chance.
They won't get the 40 million that the Munich-based company once invested.
Tolisso only has one contract until 2022, so it would have to be sold this summer so that the Munich-based company can collect a transfer fee.
It would then be much lower than in 2017.

In the past few weeks there have been rumors about alleged prospects.
Juventus Turin was now considered the hottest contender, but there have been no further developments recently.
Probably also because Tolisso is currently in France - Corona isolation.

Now there seems to be another interested party: West Ham United.
According to
Sport1
, the Bayern star is traded with the surprise team from the previous Premier League season.
The Londoners finished sixth in the English elite league and are therefore qualified for the Europa League.

Munich can't really afford to lose another alternative for the central midfield.
But: Should Tolisso be sold, there would suddenly be fresh millions in the till - and that would finally give you room to maneuver again.
There is apparently already a candidate for a possible re-investment of the Tolisso million: Marcel Sabitzer from RB Leipzig.
