Verena Haller recently won the Bavarian championship among young riders.

Now you can get strong rides in Wiener Neustadt in the “Lake Arena”.

So she made it into the jump-off in the Grand Prix.

Wiener Neustadt - The “Lake Arena” in Wiener Neustadt has a lot to offer riders: two tournament areas, an outdoor warm-up area, two riding arenas, a racing track, space for up to 600 horses.

An environment in which riding can be enjoyed at a high level.

Verena Haller did this in an impressive way.

The 19-year-old Huglfinger, who recently won the Bavarian championship title among young riders (we reported), was successful in two difficult jumping competitions with her successful horse "Carry Anne".

First, Haller and her twelve-year-old mare shone in the competition over 1.45 meter high obstacles with a faultless ride and third place among 48 couples.

The duo thus qualified for the main competition of the five-day tournament, the “Equitron Pro Grand Prix”.

There it was over 1.50 meter high obstacles on Monday afternoon. There the rider of the "RFV Weilheimer Pferdefreunde" and her mare even had the chance of victory. With five other couples they made no mistakes and so they made it into the jump-off. Haller and “Carry Anne” also finished this ride flawlessly, about one and a half seconds separated them from victory and 5000 euros in prize money. The time of 50.07 seconds meant fourth place. Austrian Christoph Obernauer won the race with “Kleons Renegade” (48.24 seconds). Haller had already won a ribbon in a three-star competition in 2020: In Munich-Riem she finished seventh in the Grand Prix with “Carry Anne”, but had missed the jump-off at the time. The jumping was won by world champion Simone Blum (with "DSP Cool Hill").

Verena Haller's brother, Nikolaus Haller, also competed in Austria. He also collected ribbons. With the nine-year-old “Cellee” he took seventh place among almost 120 pairs in a jump over 1.30 meter obstacles. With the six-year-old “Calypsa HS” Nikolaus Haller was among the placed in two young horse tests (1.15 / 1.20 meters).
