It is a quad bike accident that would be the cause of the death of the young man.

The facts allegedly took place on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, around 2 a.m., south of Lisbon, in the vast land of a family house acquired by the family.

Emilio Ballack did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead when help arrived early in the morning.

Hit by his quad

According to the first elements of the investigation, the young man was driving on rough terrain with his quad when he fell, before being violently struck by the vehicle which had continued on its way.

According to the Daily Mirror, the teenager's body was transferred to the Forensic Institute in Santiago de Cacem for an autopsy.

He was enjoying his vacation after graduating in Munich.

His father, Michael Ballack, 44, had chosen Portugal to enjoy his retirement after having a tumor in his spinal cord removed. On Twitter, in addition to Chelsea, the Manchester City club offered their condolences to the family of the former Nationalmannschaft player.
