The ten, the perfection, the sublimation of the sport, something that rarely happens, was achieved by 14-year-old Chinese jumper Quan Hongchan in the final of the 10-meter platform jumps at the Tokyo Aquatic Center. The seven judges who score each competitor's six jumps in the final awarded 10, the highest mark, to two of those performed by Quan. The perfection of the second dive of the Chinese jumper caused a commotion among journalists and the privileged members of some of the delegations authorized to follow the test. Quan remained serious and did not change his face until he made his last jump, having obtained the second 10 unanimously by the judges. Also in his fifth jump he was close to the highest note. Six judges scored it 10 and one, 9.In all his executions he received at least a 10.

The perfection in the jumping pool recalled, saving the distances, that of the famous jump of the Romanian gymnast Nadia Comaneci, on July 18, 1976, at the Montreal Olympic Games.
It was the first time a 10 had been obtained in the history of gymnastics and the electronic scoreboards were not programmed for that note so they reflected a score of 1.00 instead of 10.00.
After a few moments of confusion, the judges reported that it was a 10. The 18,000 spectators who filled Forum Montreal celebrated the first 10 in gymnastics history.

Quan's performance at the Tokyo Aquatic Center was extraordinary.
She won the event with 466 points, beating her compatriot Yuxi Xen, with 425, and the rest of the jumpers much farther, with Australian Melissa Wu in third place, with 371 points.
Quan, the youngest competitor in the Chinese delegation, initially began diving to help pay for her sick mother's medical bills.
It was in 2014, when I was only seven years old.
He began to train show jumping at the Zhanjiang School, the town where he was born, and after standing out in several championships he continued his career in Canton.
