Pesenlern - Could a football district league season start better than with a district derby from the category FC Eitting - TSV Wartenberg (see district league check, right)?

Florian Hornauer has his own opinion on this.

As a five-year-old he started at TSV, for which he scored hundreds of goals for 22 years before moving to FC Eitting.

Now the policeman is returning to his home club - and has to go to Eitting, of all places, to kick off.

Mr. Hornauer, in the first league game against the former club: Is that really a good idea from the game planner?

At first I thought to myself: It doesn't really have to be the same.

But at some point it would have happened anyway.

So now I'm happy to see the boys again.

Are there a few that you are particularly looking forward to?

Actually on everyone, there is no special player.

Because of the corona-related break, we haven't seen each other in a while.

So it is time for it.

If your trainer asks you for an expertise: What does FC Eitting do particularly well?

Eitting has a very experienced team.

Many players were already in the higher class.

It's a strong team that is physically very present and also has a lot of individual class.

Which opponents will it be particularly uncomfortable for you as a striker?

It was always hot in training against Marcel Güll.

He's a tough fighter who never gives up.

Michael Pech is a great game.

And when Felix Zehetmeier moves back from the six, it doesn't get any easier.

Sounds like a really tough opponent.

And in which areas are you better?

We in Wartenberg are a homogeneous bunch with a lot of enthusiasm and fast and many young people.

At 31, I'm the oldest here.

Why did you actually come back?

It was always clear that at some point I would play in Wartenberg again.

This is my home club.

I live in Pesenlern and can now cycle to the sports field again.

That fits wonderfully.

But I don't regret going to Eitting four years ago to take the next step.

I think: It's just good to see something different from time to time.

But the contact with TSV has never been broken.

Now I think the time is right.

I'm still in good shape physically and hopefully not a block on the leg for the team (laughs).

The TSV presumably does not assume that either.

How will you get involved?

As I said, we have a lot of young players in their early twenties. Now we have also added a bunch of A youth players.

I do think that with my experience I can help bring calm into difficult situations.

I don't allow myself to be nervous anymore when something doesn't go well.

How strong is the TSV this year?

In the past season you went as a climber.

Is it all about staying up this year again?

Hard to say.

Because of the long break, we don't have any comparisons about how good the others are.

You have to wait for the first games.

But it is certainly not wrong to always say: the second season is the most difficult.

In any case, it will be very exciting.

As exciting as working with your new trainer Richard Maierthaler?

The "Tschul" is a thousand percent.

He lives football, tactically very fit and has been a coach for ages.

He has a lot of experience and that is good for the young team.

And in terms of preparation, I can only say: It's going very well.

Will you actually be in the starting XI?

You have just come back from vacation.

I do not know that.

Of course, that is entirely up to the trainer to decide.

But I'm already fit, it was only five days in South Tyrol.

The trainer knows me.

I always discuss with him how I can keep myself fit with fitness units if I can only train once a week because of my shift work.

You have been with TSV for over 20 years.

What was the best experience during that time?

I remember that very well: It was the 2009 promotion game in Attaching against Palzing.

It was 35 degrees, it was 1: 1 in the 89th minute, and there were only ten of us left.

And then the substitute Thomas Halir scored the 2-1.

And I was allowed to hang it up.

What would be the perfect script for Friday?

I would like to see an attractive game after the long break.

And as sorry as I am for Eitting, a threesome would be nice for us.

And I wouldn't be angry at all if I scored a goal.
