Italian Antonella Palmisano won the gold medal in the 20km walk in athletics at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
According to Sky Sports, Palmisano completed the distance in (1 hour, 29 minutes and 12 seconds), while Colombian Sandra Lorena Arenas came in second with a time (1 hour 29 minutes and 37 seconds), while China's Hong Liu won third place with a time (1 hour 29 minutes and 57 seconds).
This is the eighth gold medal for Italy in this Olympics in general and the fourth in athletics.
