Russia today won two new medals in boxing competitions at the Olympic Games currently being held in Tokyo.
Russian boxer Zinvera Magomedalieva won the bronze medal in the weight category - under 75 kg, after losing in the semi-finals to China's Li Tsian, 0-5.
Russian Muslim Haji Mammadov won the silver medal in the 81-91 kilogram weight category, after losing the final match to Cuban Julio La Cruz, unanimously by the judges.
Russia raised its medal tally in the current games to 60 miscellaneous medals.
