A diver born in Munich caused a stir in Tokyo in two ways: with his age and with his unusual name.

A German hurdler, for example, already drew attention to himself with his name, which was unsuitable for his discipline, and the four names of the youngest German water diver will probably have caused astonishment among the spectators.

The athlete with the unusual name Jaden Shiloh Eikermann Gregorchuk flew to Tokyo at the age of just 16 as the youngest participant of the German Swimming Association.
There he could not assert himself decisively against the greats of his discipline, but he ensured a respectable success with a 21st place in the qualification in high diving.
For years, Eikermann, who according to his Instagram * profile has Canadian roots, has been a talent in the swimming federation.
He was able to win 15 times at the German Youth Championships.
For the first time he joined the federal squad at the age of 14 as the youngest member at the time.
After qualifying for the 2019 European Youth Championship in Kazan, Russia, he went one better with third place.
Only last year, the native of Munich also won the German diving championships, followed by the next highlight of his young career in Tokyo.

But he was not entirely satisfied with his appearance at his first Olympic Games *, as a message on his Instagram profile suggests.
