- When Paris 2024 picked up the Olympic flag, how did you feel?
Tony ESTANGUET.

Emotion.
And a form of apprehension in the face of pressure, very strong.
There is pride in seeing the Games return to Europe, France, and Paris.
We have worked for so long so that the French are proud to see their country on the front of the stage, welcoming the world.
There are parallels with what I have experienced as an athlete: the closer the goal approaches, the more stress increases.
It's a moment of change.
It's our turn.
It releases a mixture of pride, enthusiasm, optimism, adrenaline, envy, emotion.
And, at the same time, responsibility because we are the custodians:
