Olivia Podmore passed away at the age of only 24.
The track cyclist took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro for her home country in 2016 and finished ninth in the team sprint with her colleague Natasha Hansen.
Her greatest successes include winning the 500-meter time trial at the Oceania Championships 19/20 and triumphing in the two-man team at the World Cup in Cambridge in 2019 - again alongside Natasha Hansen.
Despite successfully qualifying, she was not nominated for the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.
