With the encounter between Borussia Mönchengladbach and title holder FC Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga starts its 59th season on Friday at 8.30 p.m. (live ticker SPIEGEL.de; TV: Sat.1).
It has been clear since Tuesday how many spectators are allowed to enter the stadium at most for one game.
The Bundesliga clubs do not agree on who that will be.

How many spectators are allowed in the stadiums?
A maximum of 25,000 spectators are still allowed to take part in major sporting events, which also include Bundesliga matches.
That emerges from the decision paper of the Prime Minister's Conference with Angela Merkel.
The Federal Chancellor and the heads of government of the federal states agreed on this on Tuesday.
"The states agree that, beyond the 3G regulation, for major sporting events above an absolute number of 5000 spectators, the maximum permissible load is 50 percent of the respective maximum capacity," the paper says, and further: "However, not more than a total of 25,000 spectators «.
Politicians had already capped the number at 25,000 at the beginning of July.
Only vaccinated, recovered or tested fans are allowed into the stadium.
DFB Cup winner Borussia Dortmund, for example, competes on Saturday (6.30 p.m., live ticker SPIEGEL.de; TV: Sky) at the season opener against Eintracht Frankfurt before the maximum number.
"24,000 will be admitted with proof of vaccination or recovered status, 1000 will be negative for the coronavirus," said the BVB on Tuesday.
Who is allowed in?
1. FC Köln would like to restrict the basic rule - vaccinated, recovered, tested - from the second home game.
At the start against Hertha BSC on August 15, the 16,500 viewers who are supposed to be admitted will also include 1000 with a negative corona test.
This contingent will no longer be available for the next game against VfL Bochum on August 28th.
The people of Cologne follow the suggestion of Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn, who said in an interview with the “Münchner Merkur” that he could envisage access only for those who have been vaccinated or recovered for “areas that do not belong to basic care”.
"Vaccination is the key to a changed normalcy - without it it will be difficult in the long run," quoted the "Bild" newspaper FC managing director Alexander Wehrle.
The club had recently offered the opportunity to vaccinate during training.
Do the Bundesliga clubs agree?
No.
Among other things, TSG Hoffenheim is against the restrictions brought into play by Spahn.

What role do the incidence values play?
With them stand and fall restrictions on the number of viewers - actually.

Union had "submitted a very good hygiene concept," said the responsible department.
Therefore, Union is allowed to compete on the first day of play before 11,006 spectators, half of the maximum capacity.
How is vaccination advertised?
In addition to the vaccination offer during training at 1. FC Köln, the clubs use different approaches.
Vaccination, said BVB managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke, is after all the "key to everything".
"If you want us to feel something like normality in the foreseeable future, if you want to go back to the stadium, which we are eagerly waiting for, then please get vaccinated," Watzke appealed to the BVB fans.
On Tuesday, SC Freiburg promised a total of 1,100 free tickets for a Bundesliga game to those who get vaccinated at the Freiburg fair on the weekend.
Several players had recently advertised the vaccination.

What about the players?
The vaccination rate among professional footballers is not known in detail.
Shortly before the start of the season, however, the German Football League (DFL) was forced to issue a circular with urgent vaccination advertising.
"Everyone is free not to be vaccinated - but then there must also be an obligation to ensure that you do not get infected with the corona virus," wrote DFL managing director Christian Seifert, as did the "Bild" newspaper and the "Kicker" quoted.
