Eden Shamir landed in Israel today (Wednesday), on his way to signing for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The Standard Liege midfielder is expected to undergo medical tests and if all goes well, he will sign a three-year contract with the Yellows.

As mentioned, this week Maccabi Tel Aviv reached an agreement with the Italian Pisa, on the sale of Yonatan Cohen, and now, as stated, the club is expected to add a number of reinforcement players.

Maccabi Tel Aviv is the fourth stop in Shamir's career and the third in Israel.

Although he grew up in the youth department of Hapoel Haifa, at the age of 17 he moved to Kiryat Shmona, where he began his career.
