Amman, SANA- The Syrian women’s table tennis team defeated its Egyptian counterpart, by three sets to one in the

The Syrian women's table tennis team defeated its Egyptian counterpart, by three sets to one, in the Arab Championship, which opened yesterday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the participation of 13 countries.

Our team also won the junior and cub categories over its Iraqi counterpart by three games without a response, while our juniors lost to Egypt's juniors by three games without a response.

Our team is represented in the women's category by Hind Zaza, Anana Kurdish and Naya Suleiman, and in the cubs category Hind Zaza, Aba Hallaq and Sulaf Mahmoud, and for the juniors Zaid Qatini, Muhammad Tarbin and Abdullah Ajaj.

The teams participating in the tournament were divided into groups, where our junior team was drawn in the first group along with the teams of Egypt and Kuwait, while our junior team plays in the second group along with Jordan, Iraq and Qatar, and our junior team competes in the first group along with Qatar, Iraq and Egypt.
