Thirty-five players on the list of the coach of the Syrian youth football team continue their training within the current preparatory camp being held in Damascus in preparation for the West Asian Championship that will be held in Iraq next November.
Our national team will conduct an external training camp in Lebanon, starting next Tuesday and continuing for a week, including two friendly matches with its Lebanese counterpart, where twenty-three players will be selected from the current list of the Lebanon camp.
During the last period, our team conducted a series of selective local training camps within the framework of the preparation plan for the upcoming tournament, and the Tishreen football tournament, which concluded earlier this month, was a good opportunity to see the level of the players.
Our team played three matches in the Tishreen tournament, drawing in the first with Tishreen with a goal for the same, and losing in the second to the police with two goals without a response. It also lost in the third against Afrin with two goals to one, to get out of the tournament from its first round.
