The legendary striker of the German national team and former Bayern Munich, died in the hospital this morning.
Muller is the all-time Bundesliga top scorer with 365 goals in 427 appearances.

But heavy in Germany: Gerd Müller, the greatest pioneer of the country and one of the greatest pioneers ever, died today (Sunday) at the age of 75. Müller, who struggled with a serious illness, is considered a legend at Bayern Munich and the German national team or rather West Germany, which he scored no less than 68 goals in 62 appearances.
In the Bayern Munich uniform he scored 365 goals in 427 appearances in the league alone.
The "bomber of the country", as it was called, joined Bayern Munich from Nordlingen in 1964, helping it become one of the continent's powers.
He led the Bavarians to win four German championships, four trophies, three consecutive European Cups and one trophy to win a trophy.
In national team uniform, Muller won the home World Cup in 1974 and the Euro two years earlier.
Personally, the legendary striker won the Golden Ball in 1970 and twice the Golden Shoe.
