Yam Madar is training in New York ahead of the NBA Summer League (from Twitter)
The 2016/17 season was supposed to be Eric Baldesso's breakout season in the NBA.
The quarterback who played in Phoenix in those days averaged 21.1 points per game, adding 6.3 assists, nearly 5 rebounds and more than a steal per game.
But a serious knee injury devoured the cards, sending Beldeso to a long rehabilitation, which led to a long absence from the league.
He was able to come back, but not restore the high ability he displayed before the injury, when in every season since returning to the league, his averages dropped significantly, with last season in the New Orleans uniform (71 games) averaging just 12.2 points per game.
But tonight (Sunday through Monday), at least according to ESPN senior Adrian Wojciechowski, the 31-year-old Baldesso gets a chance to return to the front of the stage - after Wojciechowski claimed he would be traded to Memphis Grizzlies, who picked him up earlier this month, to Los Angeles Les Clippers, in exchange for Patrick Beverly, Rejon Rondo and Daniel Otoro.
