He will keep the Sabbath in the first division: Ofir Mizrahi surprisingly signed for Tiberias
The 27-year-old midfielder, who played last season for Kiryat Shmona and held offers in the Premier League and National League, was relegated to the third division, among other things due to his desire to stop playing on Saturdays.

Ofir Mizrahi, a midfielder for Kiryat Shmona last season, signed today (Monday) with Tiberias from the first division, in a move that surprised many.
The 27-year-old Mizrahi, who played in the 2016/17 season in Swiss Lugano and then returned to Israel and signed with Maccabi Haifa, decided to relegate to the third division for several reasons, including the desire to stop playing on Saturdays.
Tiberias estimates that he is a tie-breaker and believes that Mizrahi will help them meet the goal of returning to the national league, where they played in the 2014/15 season.

Mizrahi were interested in teams in the Premier League and many teams in the National League, but sources involved in the details said that some of the offers were very low and the player preferred to go to a place where he would be valued and could continue to play football without breaking the Sabbath.
