The storm in Barcelona continues, and in the days following the departure of Leo Messi, incumbent president Joan Laporta and former president Josep Maria Bartomeu continue to clash and blame each other for the club's difficult financial situation.
According to estimates, Barcelona's deficit stands at over a billion euros, and the team understands that it will take a long time to rehabilitate the club from the rubble.
According to Onda Cerro, Barcelona will not be able to repay the debts in the coming year even with an optimistic forecast of maximum profits.
Reporter Alfred Martinez claims that "if the group was a private company, it would have had to declare bankruptcy."

Former presidential candidate Tony Freisha also admits the situation is difficult, arguing: it will take at least three years to balance the group budget-wise.
"Estimates that Barcelona will recover in two years are too optimistic. The team is in a very difficult situation, and it will have to proceed with caution and wisdom in order to recover," he told the Copa radio station tonight.
According to Freisha, the promises that Laporta scattered regarding the extension of Messi's contract for many weeks were "puzzling and strange".
"When I looked at the club's ledgers up close, I realized how complicated the situation was. So I was surprised when Barcelona were in constant talks with Mino Raiola about all sorts of players, and kept talking about Messi's stay as a viable option," he said.
"I knew it was impossible to keep Messi, that it would be difficult to impossible, so in my campaign I did not declare my intention to sign him to a new contract."
