Mercato: Manuel Locatelli, one of the revelations of Euro 2021, will sign for Juventus

Summer of madness for Manuel Locatelli.

The 23-year-old midfielder, European champion with Italy last July, will now sign up for Juventus in Turin.

One of the revelations of Euro 2021 is expected to sign in the form of a two-year loan, with a purchase obligation of around 35 million euros.

It is the Turin club which sold the wick by filming the arrival of the former player of Sassuolo, to pass his medical examination this Wednesday morning.

This is not a huge surprise given the rumors of transfers around the Italian midfielder since his superb performances last July.

The Squadra Azzurra player took advantage of the absence of Marco Verratti during the first two meetings to burst the screen in the group stage.

Author in particular of a double and the title of man of the match against Switzerland, Locatelli had seen his rating climb throughout Europe in a few days, to the point of interest to Juventus.

Ronaldo's focus

Announced for a few weeks in the Turin club, the transfer is now about to be completed.

After AC Milan and Sassuolo, the Italian international (15 caps) will discover a third Serie A club. The new European champion comes to strengthen Juventus, 4th in the championship last season, which needs a second wind especially in midfield.

This Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo made an update on the rumors of a departure this summer.

"I remain focused on my career, and committed to prepare for the challenges that await me this season," said the five-time Golden Ball.

Juventus Turin is now tackling the reconquest of Serie A.
