Milan, the Italian Serie A football club, has signed on loan for one season Italian international defender Alessandro Florenzi of Roma, after the two clubs reached an agreement on the deal today.
Italian media said that Milan would pay 1 million euros, equivalent to 1.17 million dollars for the loan, in addition to another 4.5 million euros if it wanted to sign the player on a permanent contract after that.
Right defender Florenzi, 30, participated in 45 international matches with the Italian national team and was in the squad that won the European Championship 2020 last July.
Florenzi made his debut with the first team in Rome in 2011 after graduating into the youth ranks and participated with the team in more than 250 matches during the next eight seasons, but he spent the last two seasons on loan at Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain.
