With the participation of the Syrian national team for special sports, the Paralympic Games will start in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, on the twenty-fourth of this month.

The delegation of our team includes Abdel Nasser Karko Al Jassim as head of the mission, coaches Jamal Alawi and Fadi Faham, athletes Mohammed Khaled Al Mohammed in athletics, and physical strength athletes Noura Bodour and Fatima Al Hassan.

Bodour and Al-Hassan qualified for the Tokyo Paralympics after their participation was confirmed in view of their results in the qualifying international tournaments and their achievement of the qualification conditions, noting that Bodour won the bronze in the World Championships in Kazakhstan in 2019 and Al-Hassan previously won the silver medal in the Asian Paralympic Games in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta in 2018 As for Muhammad Khaled Al-Mohammed, he qualified after achieving a silver medal in the push-button competition at the World Championships that was held in Dubai.
