In 2017/18, Mahias left for the loan season in Cartagena from the third division (27 appearances in the league) and the following season he played seven times in the Gymnastics Tarragona uniform from the second division, before returning to Cartagena in the middle of the season.

He spent the 2019/20 season in the Atletico Madrid B uniform in the third division (22 appearances and one goal - his only in Spain) and last season he was loaned to Malaga and a partner in 21 games, 20 of them in the squad.
