In the French Ligue 1, the soccer game between OGC Nice and Olympique Marseille was interrupted after a storm by the fans.
After some of the home fans first threw bottles on the field and then stormed the pitch, the referee sent the teams into the dressing room when the score was 1-0 for Nice.
In the catacombs there were discussions that lasted for minutes, and it seemed likely that the game would be abandoned.
The already heated game escalated in the 75th minute: Marseille's Dimitri Payet wanted to take a corner in front of the curve of the Nice fans.
On the way there, he was apparently hit by a water bottle that had flown out of the block and fell to the ground.
Payet jumped up again and threw the bottle back into the block, furious, and dozens of fans stormed over the barrier.
Folder prevented fans from reaching Payet.
