The 69-year-old Brazilian was born in Rio de Janeiro as the third child of 11 brothers and in 1971 moved to Israel and settled in Kibbutz Bror Hayil in the south. A Brazilian studied physical education at the Wingate Institute and in the late 70's began his musical career and joined the band Clear Corps for Matti Caspi and together staged the show Beautiful Tropical Land which took place throughout Israel and was filmed for broadcast in October 1978. He then began acting and theater studies. "Habima", in the description of Be'er Sheva and in several other theaters. In 1982, together with his close friend Arik Einstein, he recorded the song "In Praise of the Samba" from the album "Sitting on the Fence", where he lamented the loss of the Brazilian team at the 1982 World Cup.



In 1989 he started working as a sports reporter for the newspaper Maariv, where he worked until 1994. In 1990 he started working for the sports channel and interviewed a number of big stars such as Ronaldo, Luis Felipe Scolari and Romario.

In addition, he wrote opinion columns for the sports section of Yedioth Ahronoth for years.

From 2005 he started working as a commentator on Sports Channels 1 and was a partner in the broadcasts of the Brazilian, Portuguese and European Leagues, the Libertadores Cup and more.

Over the years he has covered eight World Cups from Italy 1990 to Russia 2018.
