The French newspaper L'Equipe reported that Paris Saint-Germain requested 200 million euros from Real Madrid to give up the services of its French striker, Kylian Mbappe, in the current summer Mercato.

Real Madrid made an offer to Saint-Germain of 160 million euros for Mbappe this summer, but the French club has not yet responded.

According to the French newspaper L'Equipe, the offer made by the Royal Club was a surprise to the Parisian team, so the latter believes that it can demand more, adding: "Saint-Germain could recalculate and accept an offer worth close to 200 million euros."

Mbappe's 22-year contract with Saint-Germain expires in the summer of 2022, and therefore if he does not leave during the current Mercato, he will leave next summer for free.
