Syria's men's football team lost to its Algerian counterpart, 1-0, in a friendly match that brought them together today at Al-Wakra Club Stadium in Qatar, as part of the training camp that our team is conducting in preparation for the decisive round of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Our team will open the decisive round matches by meeting its Iranian counterpart on the second of next month in the first group, in which the UAE, South Korea, Iraq and Lebanon teams are also competing, while the second group includes Japan, Saudi Arabia, China, Oman, Australia and Vietnam.
