Going almost unnoticed in the shadow of Ben Yedder, the German is very sorry when his teammate on the front of the attack comes out. Used to receiving the balloons rather than going to scratch them, he seems to win without really knowing what role to have on the front of an entirely remodeled attack. But the worst will surely remain his many misses at the end of regulation time. On three occasions, Kevin Volland was offered the goal that would ensure qualification in Monaco before the end of the match.
