The transfer of Gabi Kanikovsky to Maccabi Tel Aviv is on the verge of closing.
The contact did not arrive this morning (Friday) for Maccabi Netanya's concluding training ahead of its away game tomorrow against Hapoel Haifa (18:45, Sport 3), as part of the opening round of the Premier League and is on its way to Kiryat Shalom.
Kanikovsky is not present at the training with the approval of the club's heads, which indicates that the contacts between them and Maccabi Tel Aviv are in high gear and close to a final conclusion.
In any case, Kanikovsky will not be included in his squad for tomorrow's game.

Maccabi Tel Aviv is expected to pay about 700,000 euros.

Maccabi Tel Aviv has upped the ante regarding Kanikovsky, as well as Mavis Chibuta and a foreign winger.
The goal is to register the three for the Conference League after an income of NIS 16 million has been promised and therefore the club will increase its efforts to close the deals on time.
For Kanikovsky, Maccabi Tel Aviv will pay about 700,000 euros and will probably transfer Eden Kartzev and Parfaa Guyagon on loan, with the latter probably to be loaned to Maccabi Netanya for a period of two years.
It is not yet clear whether Maccabi Netanya will have an option to acquire both.
Maccabi Tel Aviv is quite opposed to this at this stage.
