Cristiano Ronaldo's spectacular return to Manchester United is perfect.
As the 20-time English champion announced, the 36-year-old will switch from Juventus to the Red Devils, subject to clarification of personal details and the medical check.
"Welcome home, Cristiano," said a tweet on the Man United account.
Ronaldo had already played there from 2003 to 2009.
It had previously been announced that Ronaldo wanted to leave Juventus after three years despite a contract valid until 2022.
Initially, Manchester City had been considered a favorite to sign before their local rivals entered the race.
With United, Ronaldo had won three English championships and won his first Champions League title in 2008 before spending nine years at Real Madrid.
